Community Income Tax Clinics 2018

There will be two walk in clinics for those who do not have scheduled appointments:

Delhi Branch, Saturday April 21,  from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Simcoe Branch, Thursday April 26, from 10;30 a.m. -1:00 p.m.

These clinics are first come, first served, and you must have required paperwork and information  with you at that time.

These clinics are the last for this year.

Eligibility Criteria:

These clinics are conducted free of charge for people who meet the following criteria:

  • Individuals who have a gross income of $30,000 or less. Families with a gross income of $40,000 or less.
  • The tax situation must be simple. For example, we cannot prepare returns for persons who file for bankruptcy, deceased persons, self-employed individuals, persons who report capital gains or losses, or persons who have other complex tax situations.

 

 You need to bring the following with you to ensure an accurate tax return:

-All T4 or other income statements,

-a copy of your last/previous years’ tax return

-All rent receipts or property tax receipts, medical receipts, charitable receipts

-SIN card/ proof of identity

As this is a free service, we are hoping you will see your way clear to provide the library with a donation (up to $10.00) if possible. While you are at the clinic please sign up for a free library card. You may take advantage of the books, movies and material the library has just for you.
