March Break Programs & Events

STEAM Into Spring and celebrate your Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math skills. Kick off the celebration with:

Steam Into Spring – Challenges
Each day of March Break there will be a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art or Math challenge to solve. Can you create the highest tower using dominoes? How much weight can one piece of paper hold? How fast can you Lego? Challenge a friend or a family member, it might be harder than you think and lots of fun.

Steam Into Spring – Art Centres
Drop in crafts will be available to create at the Library or to take home. Ask at the desk for an Art kit, the A in STEAM.

This is science like you have never seen before, interactive, entertaining and surprising! All family members are welcome. Free admission.

Learning Without Tears “Write Now” Open House
Handwriting and typing are lifelong skills. Make it natural and automatic to let your ideas flow from head to page. Write Now is a 6 week series of workshops teaching correct handwriting skills or keyboarding skills. Each session will be $25 per participant, with take home resources and support services included. Drop into one of these open house events to learn more about learning and using these skills “Write Now”.
