The Norfolk County Public Library welcomes donations of materials. Material donations include books (fiction and non-fiction), paperbacks, music CD's, DVD's and other gently used items. Many of them become part of our collection and therefore allow us to purchase other items. Some are duplicates and others not in suitable condition. We try to find a home for them all! NCPL would like our donors to be aware of the following general guidelines:

• Material should be less than three years old and in excellent condition.
• All material becomes the exclusive property of NCPL and will not be returned.
• The donation may or may not become part of the collection.

Listed below are items not generally accepted by NCPL:

• Material that is dusty, damp, mouldy or in poor condition.
• Material that is over three (3) years old.
• Popular magazines including National Geographic
• Textbooks
• Used software
