Getting a Library Card

Getting a Norfolk County Public Library Card is easy!

You can:

  • Visit any NCPL Branch with proof of address and identification.

 

Preferred Types of Identification:

  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License
  • Ontario Photo Identification Card

If the above are not available, provide any two of the following:

  • Identification issued by the Government of Canada
  • Mail with a visible postmark showing current name and address
  • Bank account statement
  • Utility bill (telephone, hydro, water, gas, cable TV)
  • Motor Vehicle Permit
  • Mortgage, rental, or lease agreement
  • Property tax assessment or bill
  • Insurance policy (property, auto, life)
  • Employer record (pay stub or letter from employer)
  • Secondary school, college, or university report card or transcript
  • Student ID card

Please note: documents are used to verify name and address only. No other information is kept on record.
