Accessible Services

The Norfolk County Public Library is committed to ensuring all residents have access to Library services and resources.

Through our Home Access, Norfolk County residents who are unable to visit a Branch due to age, disability, illness, mobility limitations, or residency in an assisted living or long-term care facility can access Library materials on a short-term, long-term, or seasonal basis. Members receive extended six-week loan periods, waived overdue fines, and can designate up to two individuals to pick up materials on their behalf.

The Library also offers accessible reading options, including DAISY readers and a collection of more than 900 DAISY audiobooks, to support Library users with print disabilities.

Together, these services help ensure everyone in our community can enjoy access to Library materials, regardless of circumstance.
