Norfolk Local History
Located on the second floor of the Simcoe Branch, the Lions Club Local History Centre is open to the public during regular operating hours and offers a dedicated space for ancestry and local history research.
The Centre provides access to more than 200 microfilm reels and microfiche, along with a wide range of print and archival materials. Visitors can explore Ontario and Canada census records, birth, death, and marriage records, cemetery records, church histories, family genealogies, and Tweedsmuir Histories. Local newspaper archives include the Simcoe Reformer, Delhi News Record, and Jarvis Record.
Public access computers are available exclusively for ancestry and genealogy research, as well as for microfilm viewing. A valid library card is required to use the computers and access online research resources.
Whether you are beginning your family history journey or exploring the rich heritage of the community, the History Centre offers the tools and resources to support your research.
