Accessible Services

The Norfolk County Public Library is committed to ensuring all residents have access to library services and resources.

Through our Home Library Service, individuals who are unable to visit a branch due to age, disability, illness, or residency in a care facility can receive materials on a short-term, long-term, or seasonal basis. Members benefit from extended loan periods, waived overdue fines (excluding Interlibrary Loans and lost or damaged items), and the option to designate someone to pick up materials on their behalf.

In addition, the library offers accessible reading options, including DAISY readers and a collection of more than 900 DAISY audiobooks, supporting patrons with print disabilities.

Together, these services help ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy and access library materials, regardless of circumstance.
